NORTHEAST MONSOON IS GETTING VIGOROUS OVER TAMIL NADU

Chennai and other parts of Tamilnadu according to Regional Meteorological Department, Chennai Rain or thundershowers would occur at many places over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Lakshadweep and at a few places over Coastal and South Interior Karnataka.
A trough of low pressure that formed off the Sri Lankan coast on Friday has moved westwards and now extends from Sri Lanka to north Tamil Nadu across the Palk Straits. Isolated heavy rain would occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala during next 48 hours. .
