RailYatris app for Chennai train commuters

RailYatri has launched its first pan India app for local train commuters,covering local trains at top 11 locations,including Chennai, all across India. The app shows at any time the next local train to the traveller’s home/office.
RailYatri app has the largest network of trains covering all local and national trains. With the launch of ‘Local Trains’, users can get information about more than 13000 (local + long distance) trains within one app.
Co-founder and CEO Manish Rathi, says, ‘Despite the fact that between 28 per cent and 35 per cent population in every metro city commutes by local trains, not much attention has been paid towards this mode of transport. Hence, we decided to bridge the gap and make local train commuters’lives simpler’.
‘Local Trains’ feature allows the users to access information about more than 1000 local trains in Chennai. The network covers about 175 local stations in Chennai till Kanchipuram, Indira Nagar, Akkampet, Kodambakam, Karunguzhi, Nellore and Tiruvalam being the routes with major traffic.
