Drug Smuggling brothers arrested in Central Station

Two brothers arrested at Chennai Central railway station for smuggling the drug named methamphetamine from Mumbai yesterday. The value of this drugs is Rs.3 crores in the international market.

Based on a secret tips, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team maintained surveillance at the Central railway station yesterday and arrested Javeed Baasha aged 28 and Sadiq Basha aged 33.

The arrested brothers said in the investigation that they purchased this drugs from a dealer in Mumbai and planned to sales to this to southern parts of India. The drug methamphetamine is very popular in Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
