Veteran HOD of Journalism dead

The former head of the department of journalism and communication at University of Madras D.Sadasivan aged 82, died on yesterday because of illness. The Association of Communication Teachers of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry condolences for the death of Mr. Sadasivan.
Mr.Sadasivam starting as a history professor at Pachaiyappa`s college Chennai. And also he was worked as a member of Censor Board of India. In the 80s he joined University of Madras in the department of journalism and mass communication. After the long period of service he retired at 1992.
`Growth of Public Opinion in Madras Presidency’ thesis by Sadasivan is published by the University of Madras made significant contribution to journalism students. He have a wife, two sons and two daughters.
