Tamil Nadu state government has ordered that Tamil Nadu Housing Cooperative Society can pay the monthly installments of loans taken from government and commercial banks and fund organisations. The government has also ordered that loans will be extended to all Primary Cooperative Housing Loan Associations and revive them in a grand manner.

As per the concessions already announced for the members of the Cooperative Housing Society Members, the concession for the period between 1st April, 2012 & 30th June, 2014, 56373 customers have benefited concessions amounting to a total of Rs. 464.10 Crores on interest and penalties. The bonds of 49364 customers have been handed over.
A special concession scheme has been announced for the members, who acquired loans from the middle & low income group levels before 31st December, 2013. Their interest burden and penalty will be discounted for those who come forward to pay the principal & interest amounts.
In the concession offered for the second time, the interest for the unpaid installments and the accrued penalty will both be waived off completely for the members who come forward to pay the due principal & interest amounts.
It is requested that the members must utilize this great concessional opportunity to settle the payments for the loans taken from the Cooperative associations and avoid legal actions.
