Petrol dealers withdraw strike

The petrol dealers who were to go on strike from today have withdrawn. Petrol pump dealers have forwarded a list of 10 demands before the oil companies. The demands include withdrawing decisions like increase in house tax by Municipal Corporation, hike in electricity tariff etc, which have hit their profitability. The Petroleum Minister has assured that he will get a favorable order in this issue from Prime Minister Narendra Modi after he returns from abroad. Based on the assurance of Minister, Petrol pump dealers have withdrawn the strike.
