Parakamani officials said that the hundi collection at Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala was Rs 2.04 Crores. Thousands throng Tirumala temple to worship the presiding deity. There is a big inflow of pilgrims these days because of summer holidays. The offerings of the pilgrims are counted by Parakamani officials and then remitted to the bank. Parakamani officials said that since this weekend had more crowd, the amount collected was Rs 2.04 Crores.
