Direct admission to 2nd year polytechnic: May apply before 22nd May!

As per a new proposal to admit students directly into the 2nd year of polytechnic course, students who have passed +2 and a trade in ITI (Industrial Training Institute) can be given direst admission to the 2nd year of the courses offered by 41 government polytechnics.
A new diploma course is being offered at the Central Polytechnic College in Chennai on artificial organs & prevention of lameness. Candidates who have passed +2 can apply.
Dr. Dharmambal government girls’ polytechnic college in Taramani, Chennai, is offering a 1-year diploma course Girl students who have passed +2 can apply.
Interested & eligible students (boys & girls) can obtain applications till 4th May from the nearest polytechnic in their locality.
They can also download the application form from www.tndte.com.
There are no application fees for SC/ST candidates. Candidates can present their caste certificate and get the application form free.
Others can get the application from after paying the fees of Rs. 150/-.
Last date for submitting the filled application forms in the respective polytechnics is 22nd May.
