Slim persons keen on building a ‘gym’ body take the first recourse of taking raw egg at early morning on an empty stomach!

However, this is not at all right!

A raw egg may take up to 8 hours to digest!

This will prevent the ‘villus’ or small projecting membranes in out stomach to absorb minute nutrients such as Selenium, Potassium, and some vitamins. This may lead to shortage of nutrients.

While taking raw egg in the morning on an empty stomach, the protein-rich white part (yolk) mixes with the hydrochloric acid generated in the stomach. This may lead to gastric problems and create a ‘dull’ feeling throughout the day!

Hence, it is better to take either raw egg or boiled egg only during breakfast or lunch!
