Because of the scorching heat, many of us tend to spend more time in swimming pools. Swimming pool water contains chlorine; which is enemy number 1 for hair health! When Chlorine touches the scalp, the roots of hair lose their strength and will tend to increase hair-fall. Hence, have the habit of rinsing your hair before and after each swimming session with pure water.
When the body skin and hair excessively directly exposed to sun’s rays, they are severely affected, they tend to become drier and hair tends to fall. So, have the habit of covering the head with a cap/hat, cloth, or umbrella before walking out in sun.
If hair-driers are used during summer, they hasten the process of hair-fall by weakening the hair. Hence, avoid using hair-driers during summer!
Please do not use hair-gels, shampoos, etc excessively. Avoid especially shampoos which contain a lot of chemicals. The chemical used, when exposed to sun rays, makes the hairs fall.
We tend to sweat or perspire more in summer. Hence, do not tie your hair too tight! Tying hair very tight will tend to weaken the hair-roots and lead to more hair-fall!
