Jayalalithaa assumes the office of Chief Minister on 23rd May!

A meeting of AIADMK MLAs is scheduled on day-after-tomorrow (Friday, 22nd May) at Avvai Shanmugham Road, Royappettah, Chennai.

A unanimous resolution will be passed to elect Jayalalithaa as the Assembly leader of AIADMK MLAs.

Then, the current Chief Minister, Mr. O. Panneerselvam, will resign.

Governor will accept this resignation and will invite Jayalalithaa to form the new government.

Jayalalithaa will accept the invitation setting the stage for her to assume the office of Chief Minister again.

Jayalalithaa will offer respects & prayers to the statues of Periyar, Annadurai, & MGR on 22nd afternoon.

Jayalalithaa will offer flowers to the Periyar statue & Annadurai statue at Anna Flyover, MGR statue near Spencer Plaza,

Jayalalithaa will meet the party administrators and members on this day.

AIADMK members are exuberant over this.

AIADMK party aficionados from the entire Tamil Nadu are rushing towards Poes Garden (Jayalalithaa’s residence) to perform ‘Aarthi’ as she come out to assume office again and to watch her taking over again as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu!

Jayalalithaa will assume office as Chief Minister on Saturday, 23rd May.

A special function is being organised at the University centenary Hall at 11.00 AM on Saturday, 23rd May.

Governor Roasiah will administer the oath.

Following this 32 ministers may assume office in the new cabinet.

It is gathered that 2 or 3 new ministers are being inducted in the cabinet.

The party is planning to celebrate the occasion in a grand manner!

Some senior central ministers are expected to participate.

Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu & Odisa CM Navin Patnaik are coming to Chennai for this occasion to felicitate Jayalalithaa.

AIADMK senior officials are making all efforts to make it a grand occasion to remember for the new cabinet to perform better with enthusiasm!
