22nd Metro rail coach arrives at Koyambedu CMRL depot

The 22nd metro rail coach formation arrived at Koyambedu Rail Depot from Sri City. This is the 13th indigenous coach prepared in Sri City at Andhra Pradesh. The coaches are dispatched through trailers.
It has been decided to operate 42 metro rail which will have the formation of four coaches. The coaches are being manufactured at Alstom in Brazil. According to the contract 9 coaches are to be manufacture in Brazil and the balance 33 coaches are to be manufactured in Tada. Now the 13th coach manufactured in Tada has arrived in Chennai. The whole coaches are being manufactured at a cost of Rs 1,471 Crores 39 Lakhs,
