Sugar level in the blood is measures as mmol/L (milli-moles per litre).

It is measures as mmr/litre in several countries.

The sugar level in the blood can vary minute-to-minute!

The sugar level tends to rise immediately after meals.  The sugar level is detected after physical exercise. Medical experts recommend taking sugar level measurement with 8 hours’ gap after the night meals in the morning or the test after 2 hours after the noon meals in the day-time.

The sugar level measured during the morning (on an empty stomach) should be ideally 70-92 mg/decili.

Most of the doctors accept up to 100 mg/decili as ok.

For the tests taken 2 hours after meals in day-time, the ideal sugar level should be 120 mg/decili.

However, it the sugar level is below 70 mg/decili, it is not good.
