There is high drama & excitement among the student community as Supreme Court has cancelled the All India Medical Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) on 3rd May.
Supreme Court has ordered that CBSE must conduct the ‘re-test’ against the test cancelled within the next 4 weeks.
All India Medical Courses Entrance examination was conducted by CBSE on 3rd May. The results were due to be released on 5th June. Meanwhile, some students from Haryana filed a case to cancel this test as the question paper had been leaked in Haryana.
This case was taken up for enquiry a few days back.. Supreme Court ordered the Haryana Police to find the number of beneficiaries who got the leaked question paper. The judges (R K Agarwal & Amitabha) told the an instance of even a single student benefiting from a leaked question paper will mar the quality of the conducted test. The court will decided on the issue of re-test before 15th. Till that period, the results of the written should not be released.
The case was taken up again today (Monday, 15th June) and the judges pronounced the result: the entrance test conducted by CBSE stands cancelled. CBSE must organise a re-test within the next 4 weeks.
