Anna University Vice-Chancellor Mannar Jawahar announced that more than 16000 students from all over India will participate in the the fifth edition of Kurukshetra, the annual techno-management festival organised by students of the College of Engineering, Guindy, scheduled to be held from February 2 to 5. This year events will be supported by the UNESCO with the theme ‘Past, Present and Future`. The events will be available for participation on site and on line.
Infosys CEO Kris Gopalakrishnan; Rediff.com CEO Ajit Balakrishnan; HP Labs India Director Sudhir Dixit and archaeologist Michael A. Cremo have been invited to give lectures and peakers. German physicist and Nobel laureate Peter Andreas Grunberg and structural engineer Leslie Earl Robertson will address the festival through videoconference.
