Chennai Meteorological Centre has mentioned that there will be rains in some parts of Tamil Nadu.
The scorching heat called Agni Nakshatram came to and during the last week of May. But this impact continued during June. It was expected that the density of heat will come down during the month of July but in vain. In spite of this, there were sporadic rains in Tamil Nadu due to convection.
Isolated rain or thundershowers may occur over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, North interior Karnataka and Rayalaseema. As far as Chennai is concerned the sky condition would be partly cloudy. Rain or thundershowers may occur in some areas during evening or night. Maximum and Minimum temperature would be around 37 and 28 deg Celsius respectively.
