Counselling for admission to paramedical courses goes on

Single-window counselling for admission to paramedical courses such as B.Sc Nursing and B Pharm began on 17th.In Tamil Nadu, as many as five government medical colleges offer nine paramedical streams, including B.Sc Nursing, B Pharm, B.Sc Radio Therapy. Including the 150-odd self-financing institutions, there are about 8,000 seats available, for which about 19,500 have applied.
To fill up these 8,000-odd seats, the single-window counselling is being conducted at the Government Medical College and Hospital in Omandurar, Chennai. On the second day 594 seats were filled up in the General category.
Counselling for SC/ST/ Arunthathiyar will take place now. The counselling will go up to 27th of this month.
