General Strike observed on 2nd September: Export of 70000 tons affected!

Labour Unions have reported that due to yesterday (Wednesday, 2nd September) general strike, handling of export of 70000 tons of materials was affected.
Chennai Port Labour Unions HMS, INTUC, AITUC, and CITU participated in yesterday`s general strike.
Because this strike, the report informs that various handling activities, including assembling and dissembling material packets, involving export of 70000 tons of material, were completely affected.
