Quick and healthy breakfast recipes

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Nutritionists believe that skipping your breakfast slows down metabolism and results in weight gain. In fact, it is recommended that you eat something within 15 minutes of waking up. However, oily food is not recommended. Here are a few healthy options for breakfast. 

Add curd, chopped nuts and fruits to to a bowl of muesli. Make sure that the muesli does not contain sugar and that it has more oats than cornflakes. 

Drizzle some honey on toast made of brown bread. For more flavour, sprinkle some white pepper powder on it or add some chopped nuts. 

Make an omelette out of 2 or 3 egg whites. Add chopped tomatoes, onions, green chillies, some semolina (Rava), salt and pepper to the egg whites. Use olive oil to make the omelette. 

Add powdered brown sugar to grated cottage cheese and mix well. Grill between two slices of brown bread. 

Grind garlic, red chilli powder, sugar, salt, olive oil and chopped tomatoes to a fine paste. Spread over bread and grill as a sandwich. This mixture can be kept in the refrigerator for over a week. 

Chop onion, bell peppers, tomato and green chilli. Ass curds, olive oil, salt and pepper. Grill as a sandwich.
