5 more Aadhar card centres in Chennai

Central & state government`s officials are earnestly occupied in distributing Aadhar cards for every citizen. In Tamil Nadu, this activity is in full swing as well. The census department has set the deadline of end December to complete  the Aadhar card distribution for everyone.

Photographs of 5.70 Crores individuals have already been taken and 5.32 Crore persons have been given Aadhar cards.

State Census department Joint Director Mr. Krishnarao informed the reporters about this yesterday (Wednesday, 9th September). 

Aadhar distribution activity is nearing completion. 77.85% work has been completed in Chennai. Photographing session for the remaining is being expedited. There are 70 permanent Aadhar card centres in Chennai apart from the ICF special centre.

5 more temporary centres have been opened yesterday . Office of the 81st ward in Ambattur, Kamaraj Girls Higher secondary School, JJ Sports ground in Anna Nagar, Corporation Primary School in Amaindhakarai, and Mugalivakkam Section office are the 5 new locations.

Some more temporary Aadhar cards centres are planned to be set up throughout the state. Announcements will be made shortly.
