Flipkart has opened its fulfillment center in Chennai

One of India`s largest e-commerce marketplace Flipkart has opened its fulfillment center in Chennai. With this opening, Flipkart now claims to have warehouse strength of 15 in the country. Owing to an increased demand and with a consistent focus on customer delight, the company has invested in improving the supply chain in Chennai and surrounding areas.
With the new fulfillment center, Flipkart now reaches a total storage capacity of over 2.5 million cubic feet, across the country. The Centre is the latest addition to Flipkart`s state-of-the-art logistics network and technology that aims at providing easy access to e-commerce services for sellers and the convenience of faster delivery for customers.
The new warehouse will service key regions in Tamil Nadu with a dedicated team of experts who will be stationed there for training the staff and streamlining operations in the facility. Customers within Chennai and TN region can also enjoy facilities such as same day delivery and next day delivery of products such as mobile phones.
