CBS facility at the Padi Sub Post Office

Padi Sub Post office under Chennai City Region of India Post has migrated to Core Banking Solution platform. This was mentioned by Mr Merwin Alexander, Post Master General Of Chennai City Region. In a release he has mentioned, "CBS will enable customers to do banking operations through computers, mobile phones and withdraw cash through ATMs. Money transfer from one account to another will become easier and faster. India Post has undertaken the CBS project at a total cost of Rs.800 crore to keep pace with the technological changes in the banking field and to meet the expectations of the customers."
