TANGEDCO requests public to make complaints against power thefts

Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation has mentioned that the public can make complaints against power theft to its intelligence Department.
Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation with regard to this has mentioned that on 15th September the Intelligence Department along with the officials of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation inspected the Perungudi area. During this inspection it was found that one of the commercial complexes was pilfering power directly. So the commercial complex was fined an amount of Rs 3, 28, 235. Moreover the person concerned in order to avoid legal action has come forward to pay a compensatory amount of Rs 24,000. Public are requested to make complaints with regard to power theft to the Intelligence Department to the following mobile numbers 94458 66425, 94458 66426 94458 66427, 94458 66429.
