A leading international Economics journal has published that India has overtaken China & USA as the first country attracting most foreign investment.
The statistical detail has been released by England`s Financial Times.
As per this, India occupied the 5th place last year in the list of countries with most foreign investment. In this year, India has overtaken the first 4 countries in the last year`s list to become the No. 1 country attracting largest foreign investment.
The report mentions that this year has been a milestone in the history of India`s position in drawing foreign investments.
FDI Markets, the statistical department of Financial Times undertook the compilation of the statistical research on foreign investments.
Last year, the first places on this front were occupied by China, America, England, and Mexico.
This year, buoyed up by the reports of prospects of foreign investment up to Rs. 10 Lakh Crores, the report informs that India has occupied the #1 position.
China & America occupy the 2nd & 3rd position respectively.
