No punch dialogues in Kabali: Director Ranjith

The first schedule shooting of the film Kabali is over and the second schedule shooting will be taking place in Malaysia on 19th. Pa Ranjith who had earlier directed Attakathi and Madras is now directing this Rajini starrer Kabali. In a recent interview director Ranjith spoke about the film and Rajini`s character in the film.
Pa Ranjith while speaking said, "Rajini sir`s characterization in Mahendran`s film, Mullum Malarum, has always been a `lesson of sorts` for me. His character in that film, Kaali, is so strong. the anger he carries within him throughout the film is something else altogether - it burns the screen. Kabali is such a character and that Kaali influence will be there in my film. There are no punch dialogues in the film, as the name Kabali itself is like a punch dialogue. Moreover Rajini sir agreed to work in this film because he wanted to do a role which shows off his real age, and his real self, and look. Kabali will bring more fame to Rajini sir than Basha."
The film Kabali produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu has Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte, Kalaiarasan and Dinesh in the cast. Santosh Narayanan is composing the music. This high budgeted film is being released on Tamil New Year`s Day 2016.
