On taking over the charge he while speaking to the media said that the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has launched online application service. The e-service has been integrated with the common service centers established by the Tamil Nadu Cable TV Corporation in all Taluk offices, 15 zonal offices of Chennai Corporation and its headquarters in Ripon Building.
Candidates can register their particulars, including educational qualifications online, by paying a one-time registration fee of Rs. 50. They will be given a user id and password, which they can use whenever they want to apply for a government exam. All they have to do is to pay the prescribed exam fee through the 280 common service centers for downloading, editing and printing the filled-in forms. The commission would issue receipts for the same through the common service centers.
