Apollo Hospitals Group will host two prestigious International Conferences at Hyderabad. Dr Hari Prasad, CEO, Central, Apollo Hospitals Group & Dr K. Ganapathy, President, Apollo Telemedicine Networking Foundation & President Telemedicine Society of India, announced at a Press Conference, the hosting of International Patient Safety Congress on April 21 & 22, 2011 and 2nd International Conference on Transforming Healthcare with IT 2011 on April 22 & 23, 2011, at HICC, Hyderabad.
About International Patient Safety Congress
The International Patient Safety Congress being hosted jointly by Apollo Hospitals Group, Joint Commission International & Quality Council of India, Johnson & Johnson, Philips, National Patient Safety Foundation, IMA, Hyderabad Chapter, FICCI, APNA, Astron Consultancy & Medvarsity, will focus on Healthcare associated infections and is closely related to the theme of this year’s World Health Day – ‘Antimicrobial resistance.’ According to Dr. Hari Prasad, the fundamental purpose of this Congress is to discuss how proactive practice and health care systems can improve patient safety.
