New, affordable Avenger models rolled out by Bajaj

Three new variants of the Avengers sports bike has been launched by Bajaj Auto. The new models are Avenger Cruise 220, Street 220 and Street 150. They are all below Rs. 85,000. The Cruise 220 and Street 220 will be priced ex showroom Delhi at Rs. 84,000 each. The Street 150 will cost Rs. 75,000.
The genuine cruiser segment has steadily grown over the years with the Avenger as the torch bearer. We expect that by bringing in an additional style variant such as the Street, and by offering the popular 150 cc capacity, we will significantly expand the cruiser segment. With the new Avenger models joining the immensely successful Pulsar range, Bajaj Auto will strengthen its offerings to discerning customers in the Indian market, and reinforce Bajaj Auto`s leadership in the premium motorcycle segment... The new 150 cc model offers 10 per cent more torque than the 150-cc Pulser, and runs on an entirely new engine on its DTSi platform. The 220 cc models come with an oil cooler to help this hi-performance engine maintain engine oil temperature and viscosity irrespective of external riding conditions, said a Bajaj official.
