A survey conducted by Michael Page`s India Job Confidence Index for Q3, 2015 has said that Indians are happy with the job opportunities available in the country. They have rated the nation`s economy as good.
According to the survey, 41% of people that responded felt that India has good job opportunities; 43% felt India`s economy is good. In comparison, Asia Pacific got a good rating from 33% of the respondents. 900 people from varied sectors and organisations participated in the survey. An official from Michael Page India said, The India Job Confidence Index is a testament to the growing positive sentiment that has swept the country. The trickle-down effect is evident with job-seekers from key metros slowly and steadily becoming more confident about their own value.
People from Mumbai felt that salary was the main reason to find a new job. A whopping 49% felt so. 47% of people from Delhi were more keen on developing new skills. 71% of people from Chennai wanted to take up jobs abroad as compared to 59% of people from Delhi.
