Southern Railway has announced 12 special trains for the occasion of the ensuing Deepavali festival.
In a press-release by Southern Railway general manager, the announcement of 12 special trains for Deepavali festival has been made.
These special trains are for destinations like Coimbatore, Erode, Karur, Nagercoil, and Thiruvananthapuram.
There are plans to increase the number of coaches up to 70 depending on the demand.
General Manager, Southern Railway strictly warned that stringent action will be taken on the passengers who carry crackers in spite of the ban on the same.
