65 Percentage Internet Users in India are Internet Addicts

Telenor, a multinational telecommunications company in India made a study on internet users in countries including India, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, among other countries.
 
This study has found that the total population of those who are fast turning as internet addicts is surging in India. Out of the total population of internet users in India, 65% of them are addicted to it.
 
The research also analyzed about the priorities of these users and found that 33 percent of them hate uploading Selfie pictures online. Nearly 40 percent of users have got poor internet usage habits such as inviting friends for games, update posts on Facebook that creates sympathy on them, updating status that irks others users, update unwelcomed posts, spread rumors, etc.
 
The study results were announced by the Chief Executive Officer of Telenor, Sarath Mehrotha.
