- Tamilnadu Government advises Private & IT companies in Chennai, Tiruvallur & Kanchipuram districts to declare holiday for next 2 days (Dec 3 - Dec 4, 2015 ) due to heavy rains.
- Chennai, Cuddalore,Thiruvarur,Kanchipuram & Nagapattinam, Thiruvannamalai Schools & colleges remain closed tomorrow (Dec 3,2015) due to heavy rains.
- Central government has announced that BSNL will offer free service to its customers for next one week.

- Chennai Beach to Tambaram suburban train service is cancelled between 04.00 hrs to 12.00hrs due to heavy rains.
