All the banks in Chennai will work On Sundays

The Central Government of India has ordered that all the banks in the flood affected Chennai should be opened on Sunday. Because of the torrential rains in Chennai, people are not able to get essential commodities. Banks were also not functioning and ATMs did not have cash. Because of this people did not have cash even for the petty expenses.
A few ATMs were functioning and there was a big queue. Keeping all this in mind the Finance Ministry has ordered that all the banks in Chennai should function on Sunday. It has also been ordered that all ATMs should be filled with cash. It has been further order to operate mobile ATMs in flood affected areas.
