Penalty on Delayed EMI to be Waived Off by HDFC

Chennai is badly affected due to severe flood and people all over are dipped in distress! This being the scenario at the capital of Tamil Nadu, HDFC here has an act of gesture towards the pity people!
 
HDFC a leading mortgage lender has decided to wave off penalty against home loan customers who are affected by rain and unable to pay EMI on time.
 
The Managing Director of HDFC, Renu Sud Karnad said Quick Home Improvement Loans are to be offered by HDFC so as to help people renovate their home that are affected by rain. These loans will not have any processing fee.
 
This will be applicable for application received until 31st of December 2015, as per the norms of HDFC and eligibility criteria. Torrential downpour has given rise to havoc and immense difficulty to places across Tamil Nadu, particularly Chennai.
 
Understanding the prevailing situation in Chennai, as a gesture of sympathy towards its home loan customers who are affected by heavy rains, the bank has waved off penalty for delayed payments of housing loan for the month of November 2015, HDFC mentioned in its statement rolled out recently.
 
Apart from this, Reliance Life Insurance has insisted all its agents to get in touch with their customers by calling them individual and inquire about their well-being. It has over 1.5 lakh customers. This is done as a part of ‘best business practices of Reliance Life Insurance’s foreign partner Nippon Life.
