Chennai rains:Degree certificates damaged or lost to be given free of cost

University of Madras has announced that degree certificates damaged or lost in the recent floods in the city would be replaced on request.
Former students of the University, whose degree certificates were either lost or damaged in the recent floods, can approach the university with appropriate letters from the local legislative assembly member and the police officer. The certificates will be issued free of cost.
