There is a current trend of global warming up due to the seasonal climate changes leading to rises in the ocean levels and the scientists have revealed the shocking news this has caused the revolution speed of the Planet earth to come down.

A team headed by Mathew Dumberry of Canada`s Alberta University took up this research. They reveal that the temperature of the planet Earth has increased leading to the melting of the ice-mountains or glaciers in the North & South Poles. This leads to increase in the ocean levels and finally these phenomena have led to the reduction in the revolution speed of the planet earth.

As there is a melting of the ice in North & South Poles, this has reduced the density of the poles and also reduced the gravity of the Moon. These 2 effects have contributed to the reduction in the revolution speed of the planet earth.

Professor Mathew Dumberry explained that as the revolution speed of the planet earth decreases, the ength of the day-time will increase.

He has estimated that before the next century, the length of the day-time will increase by 1,7 milliseconds.

Professor Dumberry has also suggested huge lots of money will have to be spent towards building the right protection structures for all the coastal cities & areas especially taking into account the seasonal climate changes and the rising in the ocean levels.
