Tamil, Telugu, Kannada - and Bollywood will come together to play in the Twenty-20 format of CCL to produce one sensational mixture of entertainment for the audience. Apart from the players, other popular artistes will also be present in the stadium to watch the matches, and cheer their favorite teams.
Beginning 4th June 2011 at Bengaluru, 4 teams, 6 league matches and 1 explosive final at Hyderabad on 12th June will make up the first edition of CCL. South Indian film artistes’s association president Mr. R. Sarath Kumar, General secretary Mr. R. Radha Ravi, Treasurer Mr. Vagai Chandrasekar has actively involved and put in their best efforts for the same.

Led by Suriya, the Chennai Rhinos representing the Tamil film industry will be present in full strength, war gear and offensive mode to give a taste of real Tamil pride. The team logo, composition and clothing will be unveiled at the grand event that will be attended by the who’s who of the tinsel town.
The Chennai Rhinos will be lead by Suriya and the team will be unveiled today in a grand function. Others in the team are Sarath Kumar, Jithan Ramesh, Arya, Bharath, Jayam Ravi, Abbas, Madhavan, Shyam, Vishal, Vikranth, Shanthanu, Ramana, Vishnu, Karthik Kumar, and Mirchi Shiva. We wish our boys luck!
The event is attended by Mr. Sarath Kumar President of South Indian Artists Association, Surya the Icon Player of the Team Chennai Rhinos, Mr. Ganga Prasad MD of GVR Infra and Mr. Raja Rao Chairman Prthyusha Group who are the owners of the Tamil Franchisee. CCL Directors Mr. Radikaa Sarath Kumar, Mr. Srinivasulu Moorthy, Mr. Tirumal Reddy and Mr. Vishnu Induri were also part of the event.
