Vijayalakshmi in the sequel of Chennai 600028

Venkat Prabhu directed the superhit film Chennai 600028. This film which was released in the year 2007 had Jai, Shiva, Vijayalakshmi, Premgi, and Nitin Sathya in the cast. This film was based on the cricket. Venkat Prabhu is now making a part 2 of Chennai 600028. The actors who starred in Chennai 600028 will also be starring in the sequel.
Vijayalakshmi who was also part of Chennai 600028 will also be starring in the sequel. Few days before getting married to director Feroz Mohammed, actress Vijayalakshmi announced that she will quit acting. Now she has decided to come back. Vijayalakshmi`s characterisation in the sequel will be, more or less, similar to that of the first part. The shoot will begin in the month of May.
