With the recent trend of fast lifestyle & fast food items, it is common to note that people of all age group from young children to the very old being affected with ulcer.The main reason for getting ulcer is the failure to to take timely food.
While failing to take timely food, the acid generated in our digestion system attacks the wall of the liver and creates ulcer. This leads to severe stomach-ache.If this is not attended and treated at the early stages, it may lead to some serious health problems later.
There are a few simple remedies using items available all the time in our kitchen:
- Mix some small quantity of rice (cooked) with coconut and eat. This will cure stomach ulcer.
- Cabbage, bitter gourd, and drumstick can be regularly included in the diet.
- Take bread & butter for breakfast. This will reduce the ulcer pain.
- Get into the habit of drinking apple juice or juice from Agathi Keerai.
- Gooseberry is an ideal cure. Mix the gooseberry juice with a little curd and drink. This will provide immediate relief.
- Get into the regular habit of drinking a glass of warm water mixed with 2 teaspoons of honey.
- Mix chopped (white) garlic with honey and take.
- Tea mixed with fenugreek or juice of aloe vera is also another remedy.
- The best of all remedies is drinking sufficient quantity of water.
