A new anti theft device for vehicles

An anti theft vehicle tracking device called StarLink Connect has been released by ERM Advanced Telematics. The device has capabilities such as location networking and jamming mitigation technique.
Free trials of StarLink eConnect are currently available. The device comes with an add-on patented technology for jamming mitigation and location networking. The technology is used to identify when the location signal of the vehicle tracking device is being interfered with by a jamming device.
The device begins o transmit alerts when it identifies that its location signal is being interfered with. The alerts are with the location and time stamp information, and is transmitted over a dedicated open frequency. They are also re broadcasted by other StarLink eConnect devices that have been installed in vehicles in the vicinity. The alerts are trackable. They provide a Stolen Vehicle Recovery service provider an indication of the location of stolen vehicle.
A senior official says, ERM has deployed pilot implementations of StarLink eConnect at a number of Stolen Vehicle Recovery service provider customers in South America and Israel. We have initially installed StarLink eConnect devices on a cross-section of the customer vehicles we serve and in a very short time period have been able to improve the percentage of stolen vehicles we are able to recover. StarLink eConnect devices can be installed in public locations or on patrol vehicles. StarLink eConnect adds an important new dimension to our partners businesses and helps them better fulfil their missions.
