Instead of having sweets or sugary drinks separately, include them as part of your meal. Once you eat acidic foods, don`t brush your teeth. The acid softens the enamel, and the damage intensifies when brushing. In general, cut down consumption of foods that have high sugar content or acidic foods.
Use a floured toothpaste. This reduces tooth decay and dental erosion while repairing enamel. While drinking acidic foods, use a straw. This prevents you form holding the drink in your mouth for long.
