There are more than 20 Lakhs students throughout Tamil Nadu who will pursue SSLC and plus 2 classes during the curriculum year 2016-2017. These students will be studying in government schools and private schools.

Majority of the students are studying in the government schools. The classes in these schools will be conducted only after the school reopens after vacations in June. But some of the private schools conduct SSLC classes when the students are studying in 9th standard. Similarly the plus 2 classes will be conducted while the students study plus 1.

Officials of the school education department have warned that such classes should not be conducted.

The velocity of the heat is increasing day by day in Vellore, Trichy, Salem, Madurai and Dharmapuri districts.

School vacations will commence from 22nd onwards. During these holidays some private school administration conduct SSLC and plus 2 classes with the intention that the students can gain more marks.

Now the officials have warned the private schools that stringent action will be taken against them if they conduct classes during the vacation period. Majority of the schools have heeded for this warning.
