Metro rail underground trial between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar to be conducted in 2 weeks

Metro Rail officials have mentioned that metro rail underground trial between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar will be conducted in two weeks.
In Chennai, metro rail work is taking place for a distance of 45 kilometers in 2 pathways. In this, there will be 19 railway stations in the underground path of 24 kilometers, 13 railway stations in the elevated path for a distance of 21 kilometres. Now Metro Rail is operated for a distance of 21 kilometres between Koyambedu and Alandur.
Works related to the underground stretch between Egmore and Koyambedu has already been completed few months ago. Now work related to AC is underway. Metro rail underground trial between Koyambedu and Shenoy Nagar will be conducted in two weeks.
