Indian Railways have started using unmanned small drones to monitor the mega-scale projects.
The Managing Director of DFC (Dedicated Freight Corridor) Project, Mr. Aadesh Sharma, informed that the drones have been used to monitor the projects progress in the 42 km track being laid in Rajasthan and the 56 km track being laid in Bihar.
The drones were used on a test run for 3 days to monitor the progress on 96 km track laying projects.
A report will be prepared after watching the video taken by the drones.
