Description : A professional quilter, Shruti from Chennai will conduct a workshop on how to make fun and vibrant portraits. Shruti is one of the faces of modern quilting movement in India. A self taught modern quilt artist, she loves to experiment with various styles of quilting. She is also a Bernina ambassador and loves to share her passion through teaching various workshops. She loves making portrait quilts. She made the first portrait using more than 3500 pieces of appliqué over a period of 3 months, and later on she also came up with reverse appliqué technique.
