Kodaikkanal Flower show on 28th and 29th May

With the summer vacation drawing to a close, there has been a spurt in the number of tourists to the famous hill resort, Kodaikkanal.
It has been decided to organise the most important feature of the summer festival - the flower show - during this weekend.
An official informed that orders have been received by the department of horticulture to organise the flower show on 28th and 29th May.So, the preparatory works are in full swing.
As the flower show will be on Saturday and Sunday, it is expected that the tourists will start visiting from the early morning. If these days are nor availed, the schools will be reopening in the 1st week of June. The number of tourists will start dwindling.
As a special feature of the flower show, topiary (the art of having shrubs clipped or trimmed into decorative shapes, especially of animals) is being attempted by shaping a number of flowers into an animal form.
