There has been a remarkable and gradually increasing number of devotees visiting the famous Tirupathi temple over the last few days.
Over the last 5 days, lakhs of devotees had gathered at Tirupathi.
97351 devotees had the Darshan of the Lord on Saturday (28th May).
Yesterday (Sunday, 29th May), from morning till evening, 71787 devotees had the Darshan of the Lord.
All the 31 waiting complexes were overflowing with devotees yesterday during the night.
It took 18 hours of waiting for Dharma Dharisanam.The devotees, who undertook the visit by foot, had to wait for up to 14 hours.
The staying lodges were also overflowing with devotees. There were a large number of people waiting for the temporary accommodation. There was a long queue even in the tonsure centre.
On a single day, Saturday, 28th May, 69370 persons had tonsured their heads. This is considered to be a record for the year.
Yesterday (Sunday, 29th May) Hundi collection was Rs. 2.48 Crores.
