When is BE counselling?

The online registration for Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) for the forthcoming academic year (2016-2017) has come to an end on 31st May. Anna University has mentioned that 2.5 Lakh candidates have registered online. The last date for receipt of applications is 4th June. So far only 81 thousand have applied.
Anna University is conducting single-window counselling to admit students to BE courses in government colleges, government aided colleges, government quota seats allotted in private engineering colleges.
A total of 1,84,530 aspirants who had registered online for admission through single window counselling paid fees for application forms, though as many as 2,52,781 candidates had registered.
It has been decided to commence the single-window counselling during the fourth week of June.Anna University officials have mentioned that the counselling for sport quota candidates is likely to take place on 27th June. The merit list will be released on 20th June.
