Kalanidhi Maaran fails to appear before police

Kalanidhi Maran, the chairman of Sun Network has failed to appear before the police, as he was promised, in a cheating complaint lodged by a Salem based distributor.
Earlier, police sent a summon to Kalanidhi to appear in KK Nagar police station on July 11. But his counsels requested the interrogation officer to extend the time to July 25th due to Kalanidhi Maran`s personal commitment in abroad.
But Kalanidhi was not turned up for interrogation. According to sources, he is now staying in Switzerland and soon will be back in the City.
