Group-4 test in October to fill up vacancies of 4931 posts

Group-4 tests are scheduled to be conducted in October to fill up the vacancies of 4931 posts including Junior Assistants and typists. The official announcement will be released in July.
TNPSC (Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission) conducts Group-4 tests to fill up the vacancies in the various departments of the State Government for the various posts, including Junior Assistants, Typists, Stenographer, Tax/bill collector, draughtsman, etc.
A pass in the 10th Standard is sufficient to qualify for writing this test. However, additional qualifications have been stipulated for the posts of typists and stenographers.
As per the annual examination time-table chart released by TNPSC, Group-4 test is to be conducted on 16th October this year to fill up the vacancies for the 4931 posts as above and the announcement for this will be released during the 3rd week of July.
Thousands of candidates have already started intensive preparation for writing this Group-4 test. There are many private coaching centres also running coaching classes for Group-4 test.
TNPSC Secretary M Vijayakumar informed regarding the Group-4 test that the test will be conducted as per the time-table in October. The official announcement will be released in July.
Further, the details regarding the written test for the posts of Jailor, Employee Officer, Tourism Officer, etc will be announced shortly.
